Website for Kursalon Trenčianske Teplice

Kursalon is place, where every year happens international film festival Art Film Fest. Historical building is from year 1892 and it is well designed for organization of social and corporate events. Kursalon capacity is up to 600 and you are able to rent separately restaurant, lounge, terrace or concert hall. It is great place for weddings or congress. My task was to create 3 similar website designs for restaurant, wedding and congress with different color schemes. For restaurant I chose light beige, for wedding white and for congress black. Main sign on page is big picture slideshow with upper rustic edges where can page visitors find beauty of this place.   

Brochure for Zlaty Dukat boutique hotel

"Boutique hotel is a term popularized in North America and the United Kingdom to describe hotels which often contain luxury facilities of varying size in unique or intimate settings with full service accommodations." This is definition from Wikipedia and I think that it totally fits for Zlaty Dukat. Hotel is located in historical center on Hlavna street in one of the oldest build in Kosice from year 1240. I am sure that it is one of the most beautiful places in east Slovakia where you can accommodate in. Hotel offers luxury accommodation which you can find not only in President apartment but in all rooms & apartments. Another features are Iris restaurant which is rewarded as Trend top 2011 & 2012 the best restaurant in east Slovakia, The Glass-work Museum, Cognac & Wine club. So when hotel manager Ing. Ľubor Leščišin asked me to create a brochure, it seemed like a hard task to put down into few pages the great atmosphere of this place, but I took it as a challenge and agreed without any hesitation. My work consisted of: structure design, cover design, photography and put it all to one good looking brochure. Alexandra Juríková, who is good known to me, was responsible for the text part, so I was convicted that the result will be great. I chose 220g mat paper A6 format with gold bookbinding to make brochure feel tough but luxurious in first touch.

Hello all!

let me introduce myself, my name is Matej Molnar, I am 25 year old guy from east side of Slovakia - Kosice and I love all kind of creativity. I am Co-Founder & Creative Director at 12Roll Clothing, Freelance Graphic & Web Designer also work for T-Systems Slovakia as Windows server administrator. I started to draw in my early years, actually my whole grammar school was about that. When I was about 13 I started to use Photoshop, first tries, nothing special, but I have loved it. With my schoolmates we had idea to create clothing company. They had money, I had plenty designs, so we put it together and Entry clothing born. But it was not so easy, as we get our graphics to printing company, they said that graphic which we bring are in bitmap and for screen printing they need it in vector format. Everything else was ready deal with shop, bought blank clothes so I had to learn what the vector graphic is, how to use CorelDRAW and of course also redesign all graphics in two weeks. That`s enough about history I will continue later in next post.

I divided my works in these categories: Logos, Websites, Flayers, Prints & Vector graphics. Soon, I will add some unsorted works and some thing to download.
